GET READY FOR THE SEASON!

  1. Be sure you have the right gear. Check out the equipment section in CMAC’s in the Frequently Asked Questions web page and John Ellis' document on ski sizes.

A great resource to buy and sell gear is our CMAC Ski Team Buy & Sell Equipment Facebook page. There are other good options for used gear including the PNSA For Sale page, the TAS Buy and Sell Facebook group and the Mission Ridge Buy and Sell Facebook group.

New gear cane be purchased at the local ski shops (and CMAC sponsors) World Cup Service Center and Sturtevant’s. There are also a number of great online shops including Arctica Race, ARTech, Race Place, RaceWerks, SVST.

CMAC's tuning guru John Ellis has written a document on tuning standards by age group. This can be found here

  2. CMAC also has many product representatives for ski racing products listed on the Product Rep page. This is a great way to get racer prices on a wide range of hear from skis/boots to backpacks and boot driers at discounted prices.

  3. Prepare your gear correctly: John Ellis has a great blog post on the importance of this and how to get it done right.

  4. Get your racer's season pass: order your Crystal Mountain season passes for your racers. More information and the pass application is available here.

  5. Make you've signed up for volunteering! Sign up now and get the position you want at a race that fits your schedule.

  6. If your athlete will be travelling a lot, consider USSA's partner offer from Global Rescue
