EVENTS

Four days of racing (PNSA site):  
  • Thursday March 4: Ladies GSx2 (both are NWC qualifiers)
  • Friday March 5: Ladies SLx2 (1st race is NWC qualifier)
  • Saturday March 6: Men SLx2 (1st race is NWC qualifier)
  • Sunday March 7: Men GSx2 (both are NWC qualifiers)

Venue

  • Update: venue will be Lower Bull (Ferks) 

ELIGIBILITY

  • U16 to U21
  • U14s eligible for 2nd SL Races on 3/5 and 3/6. NOTE – Field size limit is 100 athletes per race, therefore first priority is to U16-U19. Should registrations exceed 100 for 2nd SL races, U14 entry will be prioritized based on USSS points (lowest to highest). Registration deadline is midnight on 2/28/21. Any U14s not admitted to 2nd SL race field will be notified by 3/1 and will receive a full refund.
  • U.S. Ski & Snowboard license required (and RH 2013 "FIS" helmets per USSS requirements)

ENTRY PROCEDURE

  • To register, sign into https://my.ussa.org/, and register through the "Athlete Event Registration" tab. Here are detailed detailed instructions how to register for races via this US Ski and Snowboard site. 
  • CMAC/Alterra Crystal Mountain liability waiver must be signed online for athlete participation. Please complete waiver here: https://bit.ly/2021nobull 

  • Cost: $50 per day of racing

ENTRY DEADLINE

  • Sunday, Fenruary 28
  • Entries after the deadline will be at the discretion of the race administrator and will incur a $10 charge. 
  • CMAC reserves the right to limit the field size.

LIFT TICKETS

  • Athlete Tickets - $50  Purchase location TBA/Elite Pass Honored Coaches Tickets – Pick up at registration area on patio outside Chinook Lodge 7:30am on race morning

Racer bibs

  • Team Captains will pick up bib packets @7:30am (at patio outside Chinook Lodge) and distribute bibs to their athletes. Athlete will keep bib if racing both days, and bibs will be collected upon last race finish. $50 fee for missing bibs.

DAY SCHEDULE

  • 7:30 AM - Registration - Crystal Mountain Day Lodge
  • 7:45 AM - Team Captains Meeting – Bullwheel Restaurant –Day Lodge
  • 8:15 AM - Athlete load on Discovery/Quicksilver
  • 8:45 AM - Course Inspection
  • 9:25 AM - 1st Forerunner
  • 9:30 AM - First Run (Women)
  • Second Run - One hour after the end of the first run.

Please keep in mind that weather and snow conditions may cause a change in the schedule.

COVID Protocols

  • Athletes, coaches, and volunteers will be sent a link to a COVID Symptom form that must be filled out prior to 8:00am each morning. Competitors that do not fill out the form will not be allowed in the race venue, and will not be issued a refund. Masks/face coverings must be worn at all times (in lift lines, on chairlifts, and anywhere in or near the race venue), except while racing the course. Please practice social distancing and avoid gathering near the finish arena or on the sidelines of the race venue. 

AWARDS

  • Awards will be 1 hour after end of second run on Friday and Saturday, in front of CMAC shack.
  • The overall No Bull Cup is awarded to the male and female athletes with the lowest combined times from the separate races.

Lodging

  • Crystal Mountain Hotels is the CMAC Lodging partner and offers slope side hotel rooms within walking distance to the chairlifts. There is a special "24 Hour Cancellation" for the NO BULL race. If the race is cancelled, reservation deposit will be held for transfer to another date. There are no refunds for cancellations within 7 days of arrival but guests can transfer deposit to another time without penalty if the race is postponed/cancelled.
